Air Pollution

words: 168
Man suffers from many curses of science. Air pollution is one of them. Of late it has assumed an alarming dimension.
There many factors which cause environment pollution. Mills and factories are growing like mushrooms here and there. They emit huge quantities of smoke through the chimneys. Motor cars, trucks, lorries, buses and other vehicles also release (discharge) smoke. This smoke contains carbon-dioxide. So it pollutes the air. But it is the nuclear explosions which contribute most to air pollution.

The effects of air pollution on human life are dreadful. As a result of air pollution asthma, bronchitis, tuberculosis, phthisis and other diseases of the lungs are on the increase.
Pollution must be prevented to save human civilisation. (If human civilisation is to be saved from annihilation, air pollution must be prevented.) The use of coal must be reduced to the most possible extent. The use of old motor cars will have to be banned. Nuclear explosions must be stopped. The State environment department should be more vigilant.
