Sub: Prayer for sanctioning and installing bulbs

Madam,

          With due respect I, on behalf of the inhabitants of Tentulala Children Park Rd, P.O.- Thakurpukur, Kolkata-63, would like to draw your kind attention for sympathetic and favourable consideration.

            For the last few months we have been suffering untold hardships in want of street light. A few bulbs on the posts have become out of order. After sunset a great part of the road plunges into darkness. After a shower of rain, the road goes under water and we have to walk through knee-deep water infested with snakes at the risk of life. A few antisocial elements become active at the dead of night. Needless to say, it is not unknown to you that the Durga Puja is approaching. We don’t intend to remain in darkness during the coming puja days. It is a matter of regret that in spite of repeated requests made by us we have not yet been able to get all the bulbs required. Only one bulb has been arranged for us. 

          Under the circumstances, I fervently appeal to you to look into the matter and take immediate measures. I hope you will do the needful as early as possible by extending your helping hand to redress our endless sufferings and oblige thereby.
