Autobiography of A Road

                       I am grand trunk road, in short G.T. Road. Today I am writing my autobiography. During the reign of emperor Shershah, I was born. It was a few hundred years ago. I pass through many fields, gardens, lawns, cities, villages. With my long body I go through many countries and states. Every year flood water flows washing away the pitch of my body. As a result, my body becomes deformed making a number of holes. (The result is that a number holes are made on my body).  Later on they get repaired. I remain always busy. Different kinds of vehicles run on throughout the day. During the day time I am always busy with the pedestrians walking along my body. During my long life I have seen so many happy and unhappy incidents. Different kinds of processions pass along my body. Different kind of processions such as political processions, wedding processions, funeral processions, etc pass along my body. I am the witness of murders committed and accidents taking place on my body. All these undesirable happenings give me great pain but have nothing to do.
