Sub: The selling of cut fruits

Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily I venture to voice my views about the selling of cut fruits on the roads. Now-a-days it has become a fashion to sell cut fruits on the roads, especially before the schools. Cut fruits lie uncovered and are open to harmful insects and poisonous dust particles of the roads. This causes harm to all, especially to the students. The school children fall ill consuming them. The cut fruits are spreading infectious disease. Everyone sees this but none cares to protest.

Under the circumstances, I appeal to the authorities concerned to take appropriate action against it to stop.

Thanking you,

Yours truly,

Amal Dhar
