A Boastful Stag

words:177

Once upon a time, there lived a stag in a jungle. One day he became very thirsty and went to a river to drink water. The water of the river was very clear. He saw his own image in the water. He was very charmed to see the image of his horn. But when he found the image of his legs, he was very sorry for his thin and ugly legs. While thinking so, he found a hunter coming to him with his hounds. The stag was so afraid that he began to run fast to save his life. His legs helped him (to) run fast. But his horns got entangled in some creepers of a bush. He fell down. The hunter came and killed him. If he had no horns, he would (might) not have been killed.
