A Journey by Bus

words: 185

During the last summer vacation I had a long trip to Digha. I went there with my parents. We got into (boarded) a bus from Kolkata. We somehow managed our seats by window in the bus. Soon the bus started. It was running along the G.T.  Road (It sped along the G.T. Road). I looked out of the window and enjoyed the delightful scene of the villages. (I saw charming scene on both sides of the road). The houses, the fields and the cars rushed past the opposite direction. The trees, the posts and the huts passed by us one after another. The birds flew past. Some dogs were barking when our bus passed by them. Some boys and girls shouted in joy. Our bus crossed the bridges with chattering sounds. The hawkers were selling their wares inside the bus. Some passengers were playing at cards. Some boys and girls were chatting (gossiping).  I was reading a newspaper.

At last we reached Digha. (After a long journey we reached Digha). We put up in a sea-side hotel. After all, the journey gave us much pleasure.
