Two Foolish Cats and a Cunning Monkey

Two cats lived in a house. One day they were roaming in search of food. They stole a piece of bread. Both of them were very hungry. They started fighting over it. A monkey arrived there and found them fighting. He proposed to settle their dispute. They agreed. The monkey broke (divided) the piece of bread into two. But the two pieces were unequal in size. To equalize, he ate a portion from the larger piece. Then the other piece seemed to be larger. The monkey continued eating from both the pieces. At last both the pieces of bread vanished. The cats realised their foolishness and started to lament. The clever monkey went away (disappeared) with a filling of rapture.
Moral: A fool believes everything easily.
