Sachin Tendulkar

 Many great cricketers and batsmen were born all over the world. Sachin Tendulkar is one of the greatest cricketers and batsmen .

Tendulkar was born on 24th April, 1973 at Normal Nursing Home in Bombay. His father Ramesh Tendulkar was a well-known Marathi novelist and his mother worked in the insurance industry. His full name is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. He also known as Bombay Bomber and Master Blaster. Though he showed interest in tennis, his elder brother Ajit introduced young Sachin to Ramkant Acrekar, a famous cricketer coach at Shivaji Park, Dardar.

He made his test debut on 15th November, 1989 against Pakistan in Karachi at the age of sixteen. He played total 200 test matches and 463 one day international matches. He is the only player to score 34, 357 runs in all forms of international cricket. He is the 16th player and first Indian to score 50,000 runs in all forms of domestic and international recognized cricket. He also holds the recorded of the highest number of centuries in both tests(51) and ODI (49).
