Preparation of Edible Oil
Mustard oil is an important item of our daily food. We cannot cook fish, meat or vegetables without it. The preparation of edible oil from mustard seeds goes through a number of steps. At first mustard seeds are bought from market. They are properly cleaned and dried in the sun for a few weeks. Then the dried seeds are put into a hawler (bowl). A little water is added to the seeds. The seeds are crushed in the hawler. Then the oil cakes are separated. The oil comes through a channel. Oil is then collected in containers. At last the containers are sealed. Now mustard oil is ready for sale.
